Dilek İLHAN BEYAZTAŞ
Prof. Dr. Dilek İlhan BeyaztaÅŸ graduated from Atatürk University, Erzincan Faculty of Education, Department of Primary School Education 2006. In 2009, she completed her master's degree in Primary School Education at the Institute of Social Sciences of the same university and in her thesis, she examined classroom teachers' understanding of classroom management in terms of various variables. In 2014, she received her PhD degree from Hacettepe University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, and in her doctoral dissertation, she investigated the learning approaches of successful students and their suggestions for effective learning. While doing his doctoral studies, she worked at the Cumbria University in England for 6 months with a Higher Education Scholarship.In 2016, she was awarded the Nafi Atuf Kansu Educational Research Award for her doctoral dissertation titled “Successful Students' Learning Approaches and Their Suggestions about Effective Learning”.
Prof. Dr. BeyaztaÅŸ, who continues her academic career as a faculty member at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Faculty of Education, works in the fields of curriculum, effective learning and teaching, learning approaches, mindset theory and gifted education. Her academic studies are especially focused on gifted students and mindset theory. In her study titled “The Characteristics of Gifted Students' Perceptions of Intelligence”, she examined the characteristics of gifted students' perceptions of intelligence and the factors that influence the formation of these perceptions. In addition, in his study titled “An Analysis of Turkish Students' Perception of Intelligence from Primary School to University”, he evaluated Turkish students' perceptions of intelligence in terms of variables such as age, gender, academic achievement and educational level. His study titled “The Relationship between Student Teachers' Perception of Intelligence and Their Goal Orientation” examines the relationship between student teachers' perception of intelligence and their academic goal orientation.
Prof. Dr. BeyaztaÅŸ, who is also actively involved in educational projects, is the coordinator of European Union projects such as “Would You Mind-Set?”, which aims to improve middle school students' perception of intelligence and increase their academic motivation. She participates in various scientific events and conducts studies on innovative approaches in education.
She completed her primary and secondary education in Van. She completed undergraduate education at Marmara and Yüzüncü Yıl Universities, Faculty of Education, Department of Primary School Education. She completed master's degree at Yüzüncü Yıl University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Educational Administration, Supervision, Planning and Economics with her thesis on "Primary School Administrators' and Teachers' Opinions on In-Service Training Practices of the Ministry of National Education" and her doctorate degree at Dicle University, Institute of Educational Sciences with her thesis on "The Relationship Between Distributive Leadership Behaviours of Primary School Principals and Teachers' Motivation and Creativity Levels". Between 2002-2016, he worked as a classroom teacher and inspector in the Ministry of National Education. She has studies on leadership, teacher creativity and teacher motivation. She is currently working as a faculty member at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Sciences.

Selen DEMİRTAŞ ZORBAZ
Dr. Selen DemirtaÅŸ Zorbaz is a distinguished academic currently serving as the Assoc. Prof. Dr. of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance and Coordinator of the Adjustment Programs of Ankara University. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychological Counseling and Guidance and currently a student in Child Development and Education master programme. Dr DemirtaÅŸ-Zorbaz spent two semesters as a visiting scholar at Eastern Michigan University during her doctoral studies and continued her postdoctoral studies as a visiting researcher at the University of Toledo. Her experience in the USA has improved both her English speaking and writing practices.

Dedicated Associate Professor with a strong academic and research background in psychology and education, focusing on child development, school climate, violence, abuse, and parenting. Extensive experience in developing and adapting psychoeducational programs to enhance children's well-being and prevent violence in school and family settings. Passionate about advancing research on child protection, parental influence, and intervention programs to promote a safe and supportive environment for children and adolescents. She also recently co-edited the book which focuses on childs at risk including abuse and neglect.

Dr. Selen DemirtaÅŸ-Zorbaz has significantly contributed to the development of psychoeducational programs aimed at enhancing child development and well-being. Collaborating with the Ministry of National Education, she co-authored the "ÇocuÄŸum Okula BaÅŸlıyor Ebeveynler İçin Bilgi Kılavuzu" (My Child is Starting School: A Guide for Parents), a comprehensive resource designed to support parents during their children's transition to school. Additionally, Dr. DemirtaÅŸ-Zorbaz has been instrumental in creating and implementing various training programs for school counselors and educators, focusing on preventive strategies and interventions to address risk behaviors among students. She also developed the psychosocial support earthquake, fire, avalanche, and flood psychoeducation programme for K-12 students, providing crucial psychological support in the aftermath of natural disasters. Her work emphasizes the importance of early intervention and the development of supportive educational environments to foster positive outcomes for children and adolescents.

Dr. DemirtaÅŸ-Zorbaz has extensive experience in project management and interdisciplinary teamwork, having led and contributed to numerous research projects funded by TUBITAK, UNICEF, and the European Union. She has successfully managed large-scale studies focusing on child well-being, school climate, and violence prevention, collaborating with national and international stakeholders. Her ability to coordinate multi-partner initiatives, oversee project implementation, and ensure evidence-based outcomes has been instrumental in the success of these projects. As a dedicated team member, she excels in fostering collaboration among researchers, educators, and policymakers, ensuring that research findings translate into practical interventions that benefit children and families
She received her combined non-thesis master's degree from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Education, Biology Teaching Program in 2006. She completed her doctorate in Hacettepe University, Secondary School Science and Mathematics in 2012. The author's research areas include alternative assessments, climate change, socio-scientific issues, teacher education, and critical thinking. She has served as a manager and instructor in many projects supported by public institutions and organizations. The author, who received the title of associate professor in 2020, currently serves as a faculty member in the Science Education Department of Aksaray University.

Özlem ULAÅž KILIÇ
Özlem UlaÅŸ Kılıç, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Counseling and Guidance program at Giresun University in Giresun, Turkey. She completed her undergraduate education in Gazi University, Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department in 2009; her master's degree in 2011 and her doctorate in 2016 at Hacettepe University, Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department. In 2014, she was a visiting researcher in the Department of Counseling and Career Development at Colorado State University with a TUBITAK International Doctorate Research Scholarship. To complete her post-doctoral studies, she won the TUBITAK International Post-Doctoral Research Scholarship and worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Colorado State University Counseling and Career Development Department in 2018-2020. UlaÅŸ Kılıç worked at Hacettepe University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Research and Application Center and Hacettepe University Psychometrics Research and Application Center between 2013-2016 on various projects on academic success, career choice and mobbing. In addition, Dr. UlaÅŸ Kılıç served as a counselor at Hacettepe University Psychological Counseling Unit between 2013-2015. Within the scope of non-university experience, Dr. UlaÅŸ Kılıç carried out various studies in the Anti-Drug and Provincial Tobacco Control Boards of Giresun Governorship between 2017-2018. She carries out her academic studies especially within the scope of career counseling and multiculturalism approach. Specifically, her areas of teaching and research interest include career decision-making self-efficacy, career transitions and career adaptability. In her spare time, she enjoys playing sports, hiking and reading biography books.
Dr. İpek Derman completed her undergraduate studies in the Biology Education program at the Faculty of Education, Hacettepe University, in 2009. She obtained her master’s degree in 2013 and her Ph.D. in 2019 in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Her academic work focuses on science education, curriculum development, and sustainable environmental awareness.
Since 2011, Dr. Derman has been working as a research assistant in the Department of Educational Sciences at Hacettepe University. Additionally, since 2022, she has served as the Assistant Coordinator at the Sustainable Teaching and Learning Center of Hacettepe University, where she organizes academic activities to enhance the quality of teaching in higher education.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Derman has participated as a researcher in various national and international projects. She contributed to the "Utilizing Knowledge in Life Skills" project, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and Hacettepe University, the UNICEF-supported "Reducing Learning Losses and Strengthening Teaching in Primary Education" project, and the EU-funded KA220-SCH project. She was also involved in the "Integration of Occupational Health and Safety into the Education System" project, carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, focusing on the revision of curricula for secondary education subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, foreign languages, and health education.

Dr. Derman has published numerous academic works in the field of science education, with articles indexed in SSCI, ESCI, and ULAKBİM. She conducts interdisciplinary studies on curriculum development and science education, contributing to international publications with book chapters.

At the Faculty of Education at Hacettepe University, she teaches courses including Educational Psychology, Instructional Principles and Methods, Curriculum Development in Education, and Critical and Analytical Thinking. Committed to fostering innovative approaches in education, Dr. Derman continues her research on curriculum development and the integration of science education into real-life contexts.

Åžehnaz NİGAR ÇELİK
Asst. Prof. Åžehnaz Nigar Çelik was born in 1982 in İskenderun. She finished her primary, secondary, and high school education in İskenderun. Upon completing her undergraduate studies in English Language and Literature at Ankara University's Faculty of Letters, she obtained her master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Hacettepe University. She received her second master's degree in the Department of English Language Teaching at Çukurova University. She obtained her PhD from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University.
Following her professional career as an English teacher, she served as an education specialist in the Programme and Textbooks division of the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Secondary Education. She held English Lecturer positions at Yıldız Technical University and Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. She is presently employed as an assistant. Prof. in the Department of Educational Sciences at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. Since 2013, he has performed numerous administrative roles, including Assistant Director of the Distance Education Centre, Erasmus Faculty Coordinator, and Faculty of Education Board Member. Alongside his undergraduate and graduate courses and academic consultation in Educational Sciences, she has served as the International Relations Coordinator of the University since 2021.
As the primary contact for the Eurodesk Contact Point, she educates young individuals about EU prospects inside the coordination framework. She successfully coordinated the five-partner KA220 Adult Education project entitled ‘Digital and Critical Women of the 21st Century,’ funded by the EU Erasmus+ initiative. She serves as the coordinator for the KA220 School Education Project titled ‘Would You MinSET?’ which is led by Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University on behalf of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University. From 2021 to 2023, she served as an educational television programmer for Van's local TV channels and as the Women's Football Team manager at VanSpor Football Club.
İlkay AÅžKIN TEKKOL completed her undergraduate education at BaÅŸkent University, Faculty of Education, Department of Primary School Teaching in 2009 and started her master’s degree at Hacettepe University, Department of Educational Sciences, Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the same year. She completed her master’s degree in 2011 and started her doctoral education at the same university and in the same field. She received her Ph.D. in 2015 with her thesis titled “An Investigation of Self-Directed Learning Skills of Undergraduate Students”.
The author, whose research interests are teacher training, primary school curricula, self-directed learning, and lifelong learning, received the title of Associate Professor in 2021. She works at Kastamonu University, Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Sciences, Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

Emre KÜÇÜK, research assistant, graduated from Erzincan University, Faculty of Education, Department of Primary School Education in 2013. In 2024, he completed his master's degree in Primary School Education at Hacettepe University Institute of Educational Sciences and in his thesis, he examined the reality shock experienced by classroom teachers in the first years of their profession.

Emre Küçük, who continues his academic career as a research assistant at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Faculty of Education, works on primary school education, teacher training, social skills, sustainable education. Küçük, who is also actively involved in educational projects, is the International Relations (Erasmus+) coordinator of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Faculty of Education. He is also involved in European Union projects such as ‘Would You Mind-Set?’, which aims to improve the intelligence perception of secondary school students and increase their academic motivation. He participates in various scientific activities and participates in studies on innovative approaches in education.
